Acupuncture

Acupuncture is common practice in East Asian Medicine, which is under the category of alternative medicine. It involves the stimulation of anatomical points on the body through various techniques. The main objective of acupuncture is improve and heal conditions and/or pain management of the treated areas. The techniques have been most often studied scientifically—involving the penetration of skin with thin, metallic needles that are manipulated by the hands or by electrical stimulation. Moxibustion

A therapeutic treatment (which usually accompanies acupuncture) where mugwort is burned on relevant anatomical points in order to fulfill the objective(s) of one’s overall treatment plan. The mugwort is burn via smoke-free methods.

Both direct and indirect moxibustion treatments are available.

Duration: at most 60 mins

Cupping Therapy

A form of East Asian Medicine in which a local suction is created on the skin with the application of heated cups. This objective of this treatment is to reduce pain level and improve blood circulation.
